World renowned guitar legend, Stevie Ray Vaughan, was born in 1954 at Oak Cliff's Methodist Hospital. Considered by many to be one of the greatest electric guitarists of the 20th century, Vaughan would officially enter the Blues Hall of Fame in 2000.

The following renderings were commissioned by sculptor V.L. Rangel, as a memorial to one of Oak Cliff's own.
